1000MW HALKYN MOUNTAIN
Seawater Hydro Power
This Concept is for a 1000 megawatt pumped seawater hydro energy storage system. Proposal is to recycle the Halkyn Mountain Pant Quarry as a storage lake. Seawater will then be pumped from a turbine house on the Dee Estuary at Bagillt, utilizing surplus off-peak energy from the many adjacent wind turbines
